Caretaker broke the news to all of the other day about The Wolf Man remake and this weekend brings us some casting news from the much rumored remake of Creature From The Black Lagoon.  This project has been floating around out there for years now but it appears that maybe, just maybe things are getting ready to gear up for this one.

Those ghouls over at THC have dug up that creature vet Brain Steele has been cast in the lead role of said Creature.  Will he rise to the iconic heights or Rico Browning and Ben Chapmen?  Can he swim?  Will there even be any actual real creature FX or will it be another CGI-athon.  All good questions and I’m sure all will be answered soon. 

Mr. Steele is one of those guys that you would never recognize on the street but a quick look at his resume and you realize that he is a major player in the genre.
