It is being widely reported that Rob Zombie who is currently gearing up for a tour to promote his new album Educated Horses is also going to once again climb into the directors chair.

Anyone who has been reading this site for a while is well aware that I have been less than impressed with Zombie’s previous attempts at horrifying us but I do think it is great that he is going to give it another shot.  After all, there are a lot of you out there that love his first two films and I do think that he has a kick ass horror film in him.

Zombie talked to Fango and had this to say:

Zombie says he’s in the early stages of work on his third feature, a horror film that he is scripting. But he’s hesitant to reveal more details until the deal is done: “I’m not ready to announce it yet, because it’s gonna be a pretty big announcement when it happens,” Zombie tells Fango, “but we’re still in the legal affairs stage of the deal right now. But there’s gonna be something big coming soon.”

With all the irons that Zombie has in the fire right now including his fore mentioned new album and his animated feature The Haunted World of Superbeasto  there is also his hopes of being involved in the new season of Masters of Horror.  Regardless, it appears as if everyone will be able to have their fair share of Rob Zombie in the immediate future.
