Feb 24, 2006,

The Weinstein Co. is once again picking up what sounds like an awesome horror project.  Let’s hope this one sees the light of day, unlike FEAST.  Yah, I know I always have to stick to them about FEAST but damn, I want to see that film.  Today’s Weinstein news is about a project called EVILSEEK.  Variety is reporting that they have picked it up for production.  Thomas Jane is slated to star with Wayne Kramer handling director duties.  Kramer’s RUNNING SCARED is set to assault fans shortly.

Jane will play a cop so demoralized by the handiwork of a serial killer that he commits suicide. Satan uses the cop's body as a vessel, inheriting a disgruntled ex-wife, a promiscuous 15-year-old daughter, a lesbian partner and some of the cop's dogged determination to catch the killer.

Shooting is slated to kick off later this year.
