The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror announced its nominees for its 32nd Annual Saturn Awards - which is basically like the academy awards for the horror industry and its sister genres.  The list of nominees is too long to print in this article - a link is provided below if you'd like to see each and every category.  Several horror movies are up for awards.  I've pulled most of the horror nominations out from the list and here they are.

Nominated for BEST HORROR PICTURE:

Constantine
The Exorcism of Emily Rose
Land of the Dead
Saw 2
The Skeleton Key
Wolf Creek

Other HORROR nominated roles or movies are up for the following awards:

  • Laura Linney for Best Actress in "The Exorcism of Emily Rose"
  • Jennifer Carpenter for Best Supporting Actress in "The Exorcism of Emily Rose"
  • Gine Rowlands for Best Supporting Actress in "Skeleton Key"
  • Howard Berger and Greg Nicotero for Best Makeup in "Land of the Dead"
  • "Lost" and "Veronica Mars" are up for Best Network Television Series
  • "The 4400" got a nod for Best Syndicated/Cable Television Series
  • The "Master of Horror" series on Showtime is up for Best Television Presentation
  • Boo, Cube Zero, and Dead & Breakfast are up for Best DVD Release
  • Saw and Donny Darko got noticed and nominated for Best DVD Special Edition Release
  • The Bela Lugosi Collection and Hammer Horror Film Series are up for Best DVD Collection
