Feb 8, 2006,

That elusive director of action classics like The Terminator and Aliens, as well as that sinking boat movie, took a rare interview with AICN's Quint.  During the discussion, he made some interesting points, including his thoughts on AvP and the future of 3D, as well as his work with Guillermo Del Toro.  A lot of the interview is about his current love of 3D - scroll halfway down if you're only after the scary stuff.

On Del Toro's Coffin: "There are only a couple of projects that I will continue to be involved with that we did develop and COFFIN is one of them. The reason for that is because Guillermo del Toro is one of my best friends and we've never really worked together."

On AvP: " . . . I saw ALIEN VS PREDATOR and it was actually pretty good. (laughs) I think of the 5 ALIEN films, I'd rate it 3rd."
