The rumors of a Freddy vs. Jason sequel have been running rampant for months but it now appears that if the next chapter in the Friday the 13th saga will not be a sequel to that but rather a prequel to the entire franchise. Kind of surprised that it took this long for this chapter to come along. Variety is reporting that New Line is moving ahead with the next film and we can expect to see it by Friday Oct. 13th. Wow, thats quick.
Im wondering if they have been sitting on a script for a while. I would think they would have to have been. No word on when production will kick in but expect it soon. Were all over this one. Keep it here for all the latest news.
