DVD Times has reported that the long delayed "Tales From the Crypt" feature Ritual is finally hitting the shelves on May 2nd.
Ritual is a "chilling tale of a young doctor caught in a web of voodoo, lust and greed."
To escape the chaos of New York City, Doctor Alice Dodgson (Jennifer Grey) takes a job as the personal physician to a wealthy plantation heir on the island of Jamaica. Upon arrival she discovers that her patient, Wesley, believes hes possessed and under a voodoo spell. Wesleys brother pressures Alice to find out whats wrong, but whispers of a voodoo cult grow when the locals begin to die under gruesome circumstances. (Insert Cryptkeeper laugh)
This movie hasn't gotten the best reviews, but damnit, I just can't resist a new Tales From the Crypt movie, even from the producers of Gothika and House of Wax!
