Sorry about the lack of news posted this weekend but it was all for a good cause. Caretaker and I spent part of the weekend over at the shop for Precinct 13, the new brainchild of Robert Kurtzman. We told you late last week about his latest project, a little ditty called The Rage and we had the honor of seeing up close and personal some of the sets and also got an exclusive viewing of the first 20 minutes or so of the film.
Ive got to tell you, this is going to be one wild ride. The opening minutes are very intense and real graphic. I really enjoyed what I saw and it is great to see Kurtzman behind the camera again.
We conducted a lengthy, very in depth interview with Robert where we discuss his rise to fame, the KNB days, his ultimate leaving of Hollywood and his new digs in the heartland of Ohio where he is now starting to once again make a name for himself by working on the recent genre flicks The Devils Rejects and Hostel.
Were working now on getting the interview ready for you and should have it for you in the very near future. I will also be doing a blow by blow break down of our time spent at the Precinct 13 offices complete with behind the scenes pics and the like, look for that later tonight.
While we were hanging out at the studio I was able to find out some tidbits of info on The Rage and I wanted to get this news out to you right away. First off we found out that Midnight Syndicate has been tapped to handle the scoring duties on the project. Good news indeed.
Robert also gave a first look at some of the new artwork for the film, which is what you see up on the right hand side there. We were given a couple of shirts with that image on it and they freakin rock. That is Carmella DeCescare in the pic and she will have a starring role in the film alongside Andrew Divoff whose amazing work we were witness to when we viewed the footage this past weekend. He is amazing in the film and a joy to watch.
That is all I have for now, keep it here all this week as we post our set / shop report and our extensive interview with Robert.
