Moodude Films (Dead Serious) previewed some coming attractions for their upcoming film Devil's Grove at the 2006 New York City Horror Film Festival. If your indie horror trivia mind is as sharp as a scalpel, you know its because co-founders of the fest Michael J. Hein and Anthony Pepe are also producer and special FX artist on Devil's Grove. I mention this because it stood out as a real shredder. I remember barbedwire, maidens bound and bleeding, and slit throats with skin hangin' off. And a LOT of juicy, hammer red blood - old school style. A good, good thing if you're a hemoglobin junkie like myself. R Zoe Polley directs and sexyass Kimberly Magness and Shannon O'Keefe star among others. Ill be all over this one like maggots on 3-day old summer roadkill, so keep it here at the House for everything you'll need on Devil's Grove, coming soon in 2007.

DEVIL'S GROVE
In 1999, nine relatives were found brutally murdered in the family owned Denville Grove Amusement Park. Police convicted a transient working in the park at the time of the murders, and is sentenced to life imprisonment. Now..a group of local high school students, all desperate to pass thier final exam, are going to be the first people to go back inside the park. The purpose is to shoot a documentary about the crimes, but they soon learn that certain things are better left alone!
