Got word on a new DVD heading our way from Anchor Bay and Director Kevin Van Hook.  This will be the third in a series of straight to DVD shockers that Van Hook as done.  VOODOO MOON and SLAYER started things off and now we have DEATH ROW.

Here is all the info you need straight from the source:

Director Kevin VanHook (Voodoo Moon, Slayer) invites you to join a group of filmmakers as they descend into the infamous Isla Del Roca Penitentiary where the only thing more terrifying than a convict on the lam are the ghosts of inmates serving an eternal sentence. Starz Home Entertainment presents the March 6, 2007 DVD premiere of Death Row starring Stacy Keach (The Man With The Screaming Brain, “Titus”), Jake Busey (The Frighteners, Starship Troopers), Danny Trejo (All Souls Day, “Desperate Housewives”) and Kyle Schmid (A History of Violence). Originally aired on the Sci-Fi channel under the title “Haunted Prison,” Horror.com calls Death Row “Kevin VanHook’s most standout work in terms of gore, horror, and suspense.” SRP is $19.98, with a pre-book date of January 24, 2007.

Seeking to explore the bloody past of Isla del Roca Penitentiary after hearing a terrifying account from former prison guard John Elias (Stacy Keach) and a mysterious warning from a priest (Danny Trejo), filmmakers Keith (Kyle Schmid), Brian (Scott Whyte) and their production team descend into the abandoned prison to begin production on their documentary. Once inside, the crew finds that a gang of fugitives from a cop-killing robbery has taken refuge within the seemingly abandoned prison walls. Shortly after their discovery, mayhem erupts when the ghosts of dead prisoners begin killing their new guests. Soon the filmmakers and the fugitives find themselves locked together in a struggle for survival for their lives and souls.
