"Bharat" The Salman Khan's Movie Is In Trouble

Bharat is an upcoming bollywood period drama film by the director Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Nikhil Namit and Salman Khan under the production house of Reel Life Productions, Salman Khan Films, and T-Series. Whereas film features Salman Khan, and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles, while Tabu, Disha Patani, and Jackie Shroff also appear in the film. This movie is about India’s post-independence history from the perspective of a common man and his life how he follows from the age of 18 to 70. This movie is releasing on 5 June 2019 and “Bharat” The Salman Khan’s Movie Is In Trouble before releasing.

This movie has got the U/A Certificate by the Censor Board without any cuts on the film. But as of now the Salman Khan’s movie “Bharat” is in trouble. Vipin Tyagi filed PIL in Delhi High Court that the movie title should be changed by the directors and producers because of the filmed name Bharat hurts the patriotic sentiments of the people of the country.

Tyagi said, According to Section 3 of Emblems and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act. the word “Bharat” cannot be used for the commercial propose this a not allowed by the law. As per the Constitution of India, “Bharat” is the official name of our country and it is not allowed in law to use in any other commercial way.

Also, he said to remove the dialogue from the film in which the character is comparing himself with the country. Bharat is an adaptation of the Korean film An Ode To My Father the activist said that after watching the Korean film he felt that there is no need to titled the film after our nation.
