30 Days of Nights (2007) Review:

The strength of this movie is probably the design of the vampires, who are really freaky, have their own language, act as a family, etc. The make ups and the special effects also play a big role and make this movie very graphic and colourful, a pleasure to watch. The plot is relatively basic but somehow this works fine for this movie. Maybe it is because, for once, the reactions of the characters are not stupid like in so many movies, and so you really feel like you are going through this nightmare with them. 30 days of night is a great and very well-realized vampire movie.
