This has been floating around the Web for a while, but last Friday's release of MACHETE has proved inspiring. BLACKSTAR WARRIOR is a pseudo-trailer parody for a "re-imagining" of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK as a blaxploitation film, complete with the obligatory Wilhelm scream.
I would love to see a full-length feature film of this and, given MACHETE's success at the box office, here's hoping that a BLACKSTAR WARRIOR full-length movie gets financed.
