We've all know that DREAMWORKS is remaking FRIGHT NIGHT but what we didn't know was who was going to helm the project.
VARIETY took care of that. They announced the choice, here's a what they had to say:
Craig Gillespie is out for blood, inking a deal to direct DreamWorks redo of cult horror pic "Fright Night."
Gillespie,
who helmed commercials before making the switch to films and TV,
directed "Lars and the Real Girl" and "Mr. Woodcock." His TV credits
include working with Steven Spielberg on the pilot for "United States
of Tara."
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" scribe Marti Noxon pens the
script for "Fright Night." The 1985 original revolved around a teen who
finds out his neighbor is a vampire. More soon.
