It's hard to believe that we're talking about 2008 releases but just got the word on BOOGEYMAN 2 which sees the light of day Jan. 2008.

There's the pretty cool looking art on the right and all the details about the disc are below from the fine folks over at Fango:

The sequel, directed by Jeff Betancourt from a Brian Sieve script, focuses on Laura (Danielle Savre), who witnessed the titular ghoul killing her parents and years later winds up in a mental institution, where the Boogeyman soon arrives and begins bloodily killing off her fellow patients

The movie also stars Renee O’Connor, Mae Whitman, David Gallagher, Johnny Simmons and BUFFY’s Tom Lenk. The disc includes both widescreen and fullscreen transfers, plus the following extras:

• Audio commentary by Betancourt and Sieve
• Audio commentary by Bell, Savre and producers Steve Hein and Gary Bryman
• Bringing Fear to Life: Makeup Effects from Storyboards to Screen featurette
• Storyboards
